Travel Plan

Oakmere are committed to encouraging sustainable travel.

To help us promote greener, healthier and carbon friendly travel, that is also kinder to the environment we live in, we have produced a Travel Plan. The aim of the Travel Plan is to:

• Encourage residents to use alternative ways of travel whenever they can instead of using their own private car or motorbike.
• Increase the awareness of the advantages of travel by more environmentally friendly modes of transport.
• Make residents aware of active, healthy travel opportunities, such as walking and cycling.
